Seven landing page fixes that lift conversion this week

Most landing pages do not need a redesign. They need seven small fixes that take an afternoon.

Start with the first five seconds

Visitors decide whether to stay almost immediately. Your headline should say what you do and who it is for, in plain words, and the main button should be visible without scrolling.

  • Headline: say the outcome, not the feature.
  • One button: one main action per screen, repeated down the page.
  • Proof early: logos, a number or a short quote near the top.
  • Speed: compress images and remove scripts you do not use.
“If a visitor has to think about what to click, they usually click away.”

Then fix the bottom of the page

People who scroll to the end are interested but unsure. Answer their last questions with a short FAQ, show pricing or a clear next step, and repeat your main button.

Quick tip

Test one change at a time for a week. You will learn more than from a full redesign.
