The native Android companion to Get Roman Guide: download a monument's audio guide once, then listen anywhere in Rome, even with no signal.
The challenge
Great stories, weak signal.
Rome's churches and ruins often have poor mobile signal, and visitors don't want their tour to stop mid-sentence. The app had to play reliably offline and keep going with the screen off.
Our approach
Download once, listen anywhere.
We built the app natively in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, with background playback, offline downloads, stop-by-stop maps and a 360° view of each monument. Every guide has its own colour "aura", so the player feels alive.
